1) Xccent's products are made from perforated steel, where many of our competitors make their furniture from expanded metal/steel. Perforated steel is much more comfortable to sit on than expanded. You may have sat on an expanded product in the past, but it resembles sitting on wire, and it will leave steel metal patterns in your pants. Also, expanded steel is less durable than perforated.

2) Many of our pvc coating competitors use an oven curing system where Xccent uses a salt curing system. The advantage of salt curing is that the pvc bonds to the steel better and more uniformly. Oven's vary in temperature and therefore the bond is not quite as good throughout the product. One example: if a child were to take a pocket knife and cut slits in the pvc, our product would only be affected in the area of the cut.
